“Seafood Selector” from the Environmental Defense Fund is a simple guide for choosing ethical, environmentally-sound fish and shellfish.  Trout is in (perhaps with hoisin glaze?), Chilean sea bass is out (it’s overrated, anyway).
Also check out the Seafood Guide from the Monterey Bay Aquarium (including a mobile guide for your cell) and, starting next week, a Sushi Guide from the Blue Ocean Institute.

so i guess in terms of sushi, eat more saba (mackerel) if you want to be super-eco-friendly.
