Cafe Au Lait Chirashi (I seriously don’t know what does ‘cafe au lait’ has to do with this…) @ Le Cafe Michi This is so called the signature dish of this restaurant, as you can see it has assorted sashimi, small sushi (tuna in circular shape), and sea urchin.. Even though it’s not shown in this picture, there’s few pieces of unagi in the bottom half of this bowl.. so it’s basically like we are having a chirashi bowl AND unagi don at the same time.. so it’s like two for one.. The price tag for this may sound pricey in the first place (35.95+tax + tip ~= 45$), but when you think of the fact that you are having both sashimi chirashi + unagi don and also get free dessert ($5 value), it doesn’t sound that expensive.. Moreover, the quality of the sashimi was very good.. so I would say this justifies the price.. (my friend was telling me to look at the price tag before I decide to get this) I enjoyed it :)
